WAKING UP THE FORBIDDEN "92 GSR"
My timing belt snapped and went into my cam gears and jumped the motor basically cylinder head is @&@$ on my 1992 Acura Integra GSR. So the beast has been SLEEPING for 5yrs going on 6 this yr... It's GOTTA WAKE UP this YR now I'm thinking bout getting a Type R head or just do a whole Type R SWAP or just port polish the cylinder head and replace it with OEM parts keeping the MOTOR ORIGINAL or should I say @&!@ all that and Rebuild B-1.7 MOTOR UPGRADES to the WHOLE 9 YARDS??? Which would have more value if I every decide to sell it? 4G is what I got to WAKE IT UP!!!

well, if it's just the valves that got damaged, you may as well reuse the original head. it is the same cast as itr anyways. just upgrade the valvetrain, resurface, port, itr intake manifold, exhaust header of your choice, and throw some arp studs in it. that's all i would do. with 4 g's though, you could probably afford to adress the bottom end as well

^^^ you gotta consider the cost of paying someone to do all the work, im not bashing the OP, but he sounds like a bit of a noob so I wouldnt recommend he try to tackle an aftermarket rebuild.
