Intake/Throttle body help
I've just gotten finished installing my newly rebuilt D16Z6 block and head. Got pretty much everything hooked up this is really the last thing I have to do. I'm stuck on this throttle body. I've got a Skunk2 intake manifold and Omni Power throttle body. As some people know, the throttle body doesnt have a fast idle valve, however it does have a port there where the FIV used to be.
BLUE: going to the charcoal canister. Is that right?
YELLOW: going into EACV closest to passenger side. The other tube from the EACV is going into the coolant tube. Not sure if thats correct.
RED: don't know where this goes
ORANGE: The other end is going to the valve cover. Not sure if thats right.

Re: Intake/Throttle body help
Skunk2 instructions say you need a t-fitting, so is that what I need that for? Because I do already have something going into the port you are talking about.

Re: Intake/Throttle body help
Okay. So my coolant tube has two ports like the one in this pic:
That hose is going to second port(closest to the water pump) just like you see in the diagram.
Here is another view:
PURPLE: I used to have a hose running from that port on my valve cover directly to the intake tube(aftermarket tube)
GREEN: this is running down under the thermostat housing into the coolant tube.
PINK: its difficult to tell but this is running into the intake manifold itself(it has a small port right there where the larger bypass hose is going)
I really want to get this thing started up!
