Default Melanistic eg (superslow build)

Hello once again HT,

As some might remember i used to have a red EG3. Wich was taken by the police since they thought there was too much wrong with it (not true though but whatever). Since i was unlucky with it all the time i did'nt do much effort to keep it, though i tried to take everything usefull off.

This is the way it was standing right before it went to the scrapyard:

Now as i LOVE EG's and i just had so many parts left from the old one. I decided to take another EG.

This time i took a 1994 EG4 with a D15B2 in it.
I found this on a website here in NL for only €300, wich is about $390!
This was because it had a blown headgasket, the well known rust and it looked like a lot of bad maintenance.
This is what it looked like when i JUST got it (i drove it home, even with a blown head gasket):

After some basic maintenance, replacing the head gasket, spark plugs, Fan switch, intake gasket, exhaust gasket, timing belt and so on it was driveable again.

I soon noticed that it was acting weird when i tried to get into the higher RPM's (like bogging or even losing all of it's power). Tried to find out what this was and after trying to fix some different things i actually found out it was the muffler.
So changed the muffler to an old one of a friends EK. The result was great! suddenly i had alot more power and could even get to the redline (did'nt cross it though since the D15B2 get's most power at about 5600 rpm while the redline is at 6k).

So i gave him back his muffler after a period of time and decided to weld just a pipe. Now the result seems to be that he even has just a little bit extra power this way. This is what it looks like:

This is a little clip of the sound:

Now i know that some of you don't like that sound, but i do. I love it. Especially in tunnels and stuff haha.

Now in the meantime i also did some other things. These are:
- Adjustable lowering springs
- CAI
- Borbett type C rims (painted them black, in the exact same color code as the car)
- Duckbill rear spoiler
- New complete audio system
- JDM armrest
- STICKERS wohoo! lol
- New wind deflectors (? Don't know what they're called exactly)
- **** yellow light bulbs

Anyway this is what she looks like atm:

Now i also put a tow hook in the front (through the bumper grill) and took off the rear hook (to tow trailers and stuff).
I will take pictures of this soon.

The next things i am planning on (since i'm pretty low on cash cause i just promised my gf a trip to paris on my account and i still got to pay the bills as well lol) are these things:

- See if i can find someone who can resurface my flywheel for a good price.
- See if i can find sort of a cheap clutch kit
- See if i can get a type R front lip for cheap somewhere lol
- Rear disk conversion (just need to find new brake line's for that, the rest is allready aquired)
- Remove rust / replace rear quarter panels
- Repaint full car in the same color as it allready has. Just want it to be all cleaned out again

Now as for future plans. The above plans are pretty much it for the forseen future. Maybe eventually i will save up for any of the B16 series. I don't want a B18 because of mpgs. atm it seems to be taking about 30-40 mpgs, wich i think is really low, but i don't want to use more then that lol.

So let me know what you guys think about it and any tips are welcome ofcourse!

Thanks! You have a 94 EG as well? Or is that a EJ1?
