Two days ago the car started dropping rpm fast and would just buck me when I tried to accelerate then it shut off. When she shut off the relay box (under my dash) started ticking extremely fast. I coasted it to my grandfathers house. The fuel pump primes. It doesn't sound loud at all tho a very quiet hum you practically have to put your ear to the pump to hear it. Pulled the plugs they were black as night. Changed the plugs as well as the cap and wires, still nothing. Sea foamed the gas tank the car ran for like 3 hours maybe at night when it was around 35 degrees then this morning she started up went literally a block then fell on its face. Same as before the revs went sporadic and then the engine died and the relay ticking started.

Do the basic, check fuel, timing and spark. Then go from there.

pull the relay (main relay) and check all the solder joints really good. resolder if you find one or two with a crack.

Thanks for replying, It turned out to be the ground for the ecu under the thermostat housing. Thanks!
