Installed new radio in 97 Honda Accord, now it won't start. Please help!

Default Installed new radio in 97 Honda Accord, now it won't start. Please help!

Today i installed a new radio in my 97 honda accord, and now the car wont start, all of the dash lights work, radio comes on, but when i turn the key in the ignition i hear a faint click and thats it, as far as i can tell the battery is fine considering all the lights and everything turn on. anybody have a similar issue that can help?

have you checked the fuses? maybe you blew one installing the new radio, i've had it happen one time i didnt unplug my negative battery cable while installing a new radio

Fuse or you shorted a wire which could have caused some damage.

Or the odd chance that while you were installing the radio, you had it on listening to your work. And the drain on the battery was such that it is now low/dead.

I agree. Just because your dash lights come doesn't mean your battery had enough of a charge to turn the starter over hence the "click" you hear.
