Hello all! So my 96 hatch had a b18b1 swapped in prior to my purchase, hydro trans and all that stuff. no idea what trans is in there but i know motor is out of 95 integra. Currently, the car is running an obd1 p06 ecu on the stock obd2 harness with a obd2 -> obd1 jumper harness. My issue is that I live in wisconsin in an area where i HAVE to run and pass emissions. The motor is out of an obd1 integra, so i was wondering if its possible and what it entails to convert the motor to obd2 and what ecu to run, possibly stock 96 manual ls ecu? i know i will have to weld an o2 sensor bung on the exh manifuld, but thats all i know between obd1 and 2. what are the other differences from motor to motor? thanks for any help!

You'll have to bypass the CKF sensor

If you're using the civic harness you'll need to have the second bung welded up and extend the 02 wiring. Do you have a cat now?

Do you have the evap system hooked up now?

aw man, forgot all about evap sys. its completely removed. i have a cat sitting at home for it. No evap sys means it wont pass right?

It will throw a check engine light and probably fail a visual

sorry about the late reply. There are no visuals in Wisconsin, but it will surely have a CEL. I can go to dmv and say car is being kept in a no emissions running county and that will solve the issue. Ive heard alot of people do this and the county is catching on. Darn. what to do, what to do! clear the code while waiting in line!!
