Rebuilt rsx type s whole motor used ebay head gasket (poor and last mistake ill every make) & OEM rod bearings, piston rings and all gaskets. head gasket did not last a week before it blew. Car ran great before this happened. Bought oem gasket and head bolts, thermostat, replaced and set timing again. cleaned the intake manifold and throttle body b/c of nasty sludge from the antifreeze when the head gasket blew. Now the car starts up first time cranking and revs up to 4k then down to 1k four times then dies. Even if you give it gas it still dies. Tried everything and looked on forums. What is the problem? If you unplug the MAP sensor the car will run if you give it gas but very bogged down and dose not drive. Now i bought a new map sensor and no luck, checked timing 5 times and bought a tensonor. put the motor all back together and had a shop look at it. now i didnt want them **** me in labor so i just had them attempt to fin the issue. long story short they dont know. can anybody please help me its been too long without my car
