Anybody seen or done a crv with sas and swap and stuff. I know that would be an insane amount of work and fab. But I want to see one

Nice rack!! Is that thing a dog with those bigger tires on it? I've thought about going with the 235 BFG's when I buy new tires but I really don't want my MPG's and what little power it has, to suffer.

The Cherokee, grand Cherokee and liberty are all unibody, so swapping those drive trains in would be the way to go, but it would still be a pain and unsafe. The unibody of a crv wasn't designed to take that stress and is basically made of Popsicle sticks compared to that of a jeep.

well i think the cherokee has a frame since my friend has one and took off the whole body and stripped it too the "frame" or maybe its just the bottem part of the unibody but it sure looked like a frame...but yeah no i do not recomend the task of doing a SAS swap on a crv

might as well find a 4x4 truck and put the whole unibody on top of the frame with some cab mounts

Well, you're wrong. It's unibody. It wasn't a Cherokee he stripped down if he took the body off.

If it was a jeep, it was probably a yj or a tj. He may have been using a Cherokee transfer case or something.

That parking lot was plowed 15 minutes before I took the picture. We got about 1.5' of wet and heavy snow the night before in a matter of a few hours.
