SOLD

I'm looking into selling my Civic, I just don't have the time or the funds to really get out and race. I would rather not do this, but it just doesn't make sense anymore currently.
I was building this car to compete, not to just be mid pack.

If you're interested and serious, send me a message. I know what I can part the car for, I would rather it went together and raced in ITB...but I can easily part this out.

$5k

Orlando, FL

1995 Honda Civic CX = clear title (have title)

Setup for SCCA ITB, was run and logged in STL in 2012. (have logbook)

ECU:

gasket match port

Ishihara Johnson - dual blade teflon crank scraper and windage tray, everything IJ had to offer for the motor (took like a year to get).

ATI super damper (also a long wait to obtain)

DC sports 4-1 SS header

Basically an all oem rebuild, built by Steve Ulbrik. I have all receipts, including probably a couple thousand in parts from HPD alone.

schroth window net
schroth center net - never installed
fire extinguisher
Hans device L

Lots of Christmas tree light gauges:

Digital:

AEM a/f ratio UEGO
AEM oil pressure at remote filter
AEM oil temp at remote filter

Analog:

autometer oil PSI at block backup gauge with warning light
autometer water temp

Some bits that are not installed:

Progress spherical front lca

MSD digital ingnition set, just needs plug wires.

TraqdashHD/traqmate/goprointerface (is) sold

I have more bits and pieces and extra parts I'm not thinking of, the bad is the car paint is crap, but I didnt care. The other bad is the motor and trans aren't installed...but that also means its all brand new still.

As a whole, the car needs little work to be on track again.

This is a video with a dying and finally dead STL motor, but it shows a little more of the car.

Default Re: FS: Race Cars

Since I just picked up a B16 powered EF, this one has to go. The last 3 owners of this car have all been National Level autocrossers... originally a CA car and has been in the SE since it was brought East. This thing is fast, fast, fast in STC trim but doesn't tick all my "boxes" as a street/DE/autoX car thus the B16 powered car I picked up this weekend.

Name: 0C5676DC-0A12-4213-852E-1180A358FD6C-26229-00001AE8D39EBBAD_zps7b0387fa.jpg

I'll pull it out of the garage later this week for some better pics.

Current specs:
Weight with like 1/3rd tank of fuel is ~2040
Non-AC and non stereo trim as it sits

Underhood:
STC built engine (apparently something like 119whp)
AEM CAI
DC header
Under drive aluminum pulley
Supertrap exhaust
High flow 100 cell cat
Lightweight battery and mount
Fresh tranny
Short shifter+ billet shift ****
Zdyne Gold programmable ECU with Glagola's ECU map

Suspension:
Recent bushings
Koni OTS with GC coilovers and extended tophats
Recent brakes (Cobalt pads IIRC)
ASR tubular rear bar
Adjustable front & rear UCA's
15x7 RPF1's with 195/50 Toyo R1R's- 4 on the car PLUS 2 spares. Total of 6 RPF1's.
Momo Acropolis carbon/Kevlar seat

Approximate spares package:
2 heads
3 trannies, 2 linkages
Driver Side axle
MC and booster
upper rear control arms
2 intake manifolds w/ TB
1 set injectors and wiring
1 distributor
Spare pads front
1 rear hub/bearing
Stock main drive pulley
And a bucket of assorted hardware and brackets.

Car is cosmetically average. It's been an Autocross car a long time so it has some dents and dings along with cone marks. I'm sure some of that could be cleaned up pretty easily. No rocker or quarter panel cancer/rot but it does have a little surface corrosion starting underneath one of the front fenders from the rolling. Since this was a CA car and a pretty much dedicated autoX car for ages, all the nuts and bolts turn... in short, it's not a rusty, northern mess. Despite being an autoX car, it's easily streetable... I drove it ~5 hours home from SC. Yes, it was loud with the Supertrap but there's really nothing keeping this from being someone's street car.

Price of $5,500 is OBO. Car is located just south of Jacksonville, FL. I also have some possible parts substitutions and deletions that could bring the price down into the low $4,000's if someone is looking for a serious budget car. I want this thing gone ASAP so money talks...

For anyone wonder what can be "substituted" on the car... I have a set of 15x7 Konig Rewinds, stock front/rear UCA's, an ST rear bar, and probably some other items that could be switched around to get the price lower.

2000 Civic EX

I'm putting my old project up for sale. Just picked up another S2000, so I'd like to get rid of this car. It is my current daily, so mileage will increase. Very reliable year round, A/C blows cold, heat blows hot. Power roof, locks, windows all work. Key fob included. NO Honda rot, but there are some dents and dings. Coilovers could use a refresh (I wasn't planning on it until next winter). 4th gear grinds a little at high RPM. Maintained by myself (ASE certified) and a Honda technician at a local dealership.

I am open to trades/trade plus cash for a nice daily driver. Accord, TSX, Civic. Must have A/C.

Default Re: FS: Race Cars

I am selling my wife’s 1992 Honda Civic VX hatchback. It has approx. 200k miles on the car however everything except the shell has been replaced/upgraded. I would say there are roughly 4,000 miles on the engine and 15,000 miles on the transmission. Clean & clear WA title (if that matters to you). Located in Olympia, WA.

She has done nothing but rallycross the car since we purchased it in 2007. It was highly competitive in the Oregon Rally Group Rallycross series from 2008 up until she stopped competing in late 2012. With a capable driver, this car is easily capable of winning rallycross events and would also be a very competitive Grp 2 rally car.

It was driven to and from events for the first two years. For the last couple of years we have trailored it. It is street legal though it is fairly loud and has a very aggressive Kaaz clutch-type LSD which makes it a dream on dirt/mud/gravel but less than enjoyable on the street.

Our overall intent for the car was to gradually prepare it for stage rally, some prep work has been completed but we have decided to get out of racing for the time being and there is still some work left to do for it to be rally legal.

I have outlined a list of modifications that I have performed below, though there is likely some things that I am overlooking. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I have done 95% of the work myself and have been through the entire car.

I am asking $6500 obo which includes the cage (for perspective, I have invested more than this in the engine/trans alone). I am willing to sell it without the cage though I very much prefer not to. Doug Chase at http://www.chaserace.com/ quoted me $1k to install the cage.

Please contact me via private messaging and I will be happy to share my contact info.

Thanks!

-Harley

2000 Acura Integra GSR
Exterior: White
Interior: Black
Mileage: 129,xxx
Redondo Beach, CA
310.480.9242

This car is an amazing and fun daily driver with enough power and grip for track events and the occasional canyon drives. The car was sponsored by local Honda/Acura enthusiasts PASSWORD:JDM with a lot of P:JDM goodies, and an amazing photo-shoot at their shop. It has also been sponsored by APR Performance, Crow Enterprizes, DEI Design Engineering, and Honda Racing Line for NASA racing events.
The car is a clean title and has never been in an accident. I am the third owner and I have the title in hand.
Please note, this car was built by myself with extreme attention to detail. This is not a show car, nor is it a race car. This car was built with the idea that I could have a safe and reliable daily driver meant to turn heads while having pure function when I needed to have fun. I've taken this car to many car shows, meets, track events, and dyno days. I used to race West Coast Honda-Challenge in a 1992 Honda Civic, so please understand this car was not built by an amateur. Read through all of the mods and details, and contact me ONLY if you are extremely serious about the car. (I am not in a rush to sell)

Asking Price: $12,900 (ANOTHER PRICE DROP)

I am located in the South Bay, Redondo Beach area (CA). Address will not be displayed for security reasons. Under no circumstance will I allow test drives (I'm sure you can understand), however I will be more than happy to give you a quick joy ride to show you the car's true potential.

Default 1991 Civic DX hatch- B16, LSD, AC, nice condition. $7,300 OBO

With the addition of the ITR, I'm looking to free up some space and sell my '91 DX hatchback. I purchased the car up in Chicago and drove it to FL without issue. It's quick, reliable, and street driven... it also finished 2nd at the SCCA Dixie National Tour. This is an R-comp class and we were running street tires. Definitely a testament to what the car can do!

Engine:
  • '90-91 JDM Civic/CRX SiR B-16A (purchased from HMO)
  • JDM SiR airbox & intake tube w/ K&N filter element
  • custom-built aluminum radiator
  • Hasport AC bracket (uses D-series compressor)
  • DC 4-2-1 header
  • Test Pipe
  • Thermal Exhaust

Tranny:
  • Y1 with factory 4.26:1 LSD (Civic/CRX SiR)
  • new (OEM) synchros and seals
  • Acura LS 5th gear. (2750 rpm at 55 mph in fifth)
  • 8# Exedy steel flywheel
  • Hasport shift linkage
  • B & M stainless short-throw shifter
  • New Raxles installed within the last month
  • New Honda Clutch Cable late 2013

Suspension:
  • Koni Race shocks 850/650 currently (I have some different rates available)
  • Stock DX front sway bar
  • Kingpin Radius Rod Bearings
  • New front LCA's (old bushings were almost shot)
  • Front wheel spacers to fit the 15x9's
  • Extended length ARP wheels studs (front)
  • ASR rear subframe brace
  • ASR 24mm solid rear bar with heim end links (This is the EG/DC style bar & roughly equal to the ASR 0.250 wall hollow bar for the EF)

Wheels/Tires:
  • Set of 15x7.5 TRM wheels with 205/50 BFG Rivals. These have maybe 400 street miles. 2 of them have 4 runs and the other 2 have 16 runs (mostly at the back of the car). They look damn near new.
  • Pair of 15x9 TRM wheels with 225/45 BFG Rivals. These have more like ~150 miles on them. They were on the front of the car for the Dixie Tour (12 runs+6 practice) and that's it. They're in great shape too.

Brakes:
  • Front: EX spindles w/ "big" brakes
  • Rear: Rear disc conversion via Scarebird caliper brackets
  • 15/16" EX master cylinder (new)
  • Integra proportioning valve

Interior/other:
  • Si cluster w/ tach
  • Factory radio block-off plate
  • Gorgeous Si front and rear seats
  • Recent windshield replacement
  • Cool LED headlights... EF lights that actually work!

The original FS ad quoted the prior FS ad... I was told that the car was built by an older gentleman at the tail end of 2012. Given the condition of the car, documentation that came with it, and parts I've got no reason not to believe the story. I was told that the guy who did most of the heavy lifting on the car did the following maintenance items on the car:
  • New Integra throttle cable
  • Timing Belt
  • OE Water Pump
  • Valve Cover Gasket
  • Cam Seals
  • Rear Main
  • Oil Pan Gasket
  • 4 rebuilt/flow tested injectors
  • NGK plugs/wires
  • OE Cap/rotor
  • Exedy clutch
  • New pilot and throwout bearing
  • New wheel bearings
  • New front UCA's
  • New front/rear calipers
  • New Pads/Rotors
  • New parking brake cable

Overall, it's in really good shape given the age and typical condition of these cars nowadays. It's not "museum perfect" but it's way better/nicer than 95% of these cars on the road. The only significant "bad" thing about the car is that the AC needs a recharge. I bought it in the winter and still haven't "needed" the AC so it's not been an issue. Odds are that I'll get it out to the local automotive AC place in the coming weeks to get it charged up.

Asking price is $7,300 OBO.

Default 1992 Civic EG Honda Challenge H2

1992 Honda Civic VX
This car was being built specifically for the 25 hours of Thunderhill in 2008. Because of the downturn of the economy, I was unable to complete the goal of the 25 hour race.

My loss is your gain, no expense was spared developing this track car. The NASA class of Honda Challenge H2 rule book was followed and the car is legal for that class. All equipment is new or has less than 2 hours of track time on them.

The car was race prepped for 2008. The current Safety Equipment will come with the car, but to pass your Race Annual Inspection you will need to get new; Safety Harness, Window Net, Seat Back Support, Fuel Safe Cell Bladder. With current equipment you can HPDE or track the car. When buying a used race car you should always update the safety equipment anyway. I have a generic exhaust on the car now, you will need to have your own exhaust made.

The spare package is minimal but I will include all that I have, including 2 race jacks, jack stands, 1 fuel jug and box of bolts.

Please text Scott at 602-380-7171 if serious.

I am asking $11,000 or best offer.

Sorry about the long list, but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

Model: Civic
Mileage: ~70k miles on body, around 25k on the rebuilt motor

Description:
I have for sale a Black 99 Honda Civic DX hatchback that I acquired in 2012. The description below was provided by the previous owner. The car appears to have mostly been built by the owner prior to him.

The car is a blast to drive and deserves to be in a home where it'll be better utilized. Since I bought it in 2012, I've only driven it maybe 10 times. It has spent the last 2 years mostly parked in my garage. The car would be a great base for a Time Attack or Road Course car. I personally took it to the local track twice and it performed admirably, even got a complement from a Porsche 911 driver.

The only things I replaced are:
* battery
* regular maintenance: front brake pads/rotors, brake fluid, oil, trans oil
* new wideband o2 sensor
* new aem filter
* newer Kumho XS tires
* alignment
* polyurethane exhaust hangers

I also have some extra parts that will come with the car if it goes for the asking price (most parts for the rear disk brake conversion, hawk hps brake pads)

Description as provided by the previous owner (car has stayed the same):

Shell had around 60k from as told from last owner
There is a small dent in the rear quarter sounds worse then what it is smaller than a golf ball.
Hood also is fading needs new clear coat, front bumper has a scuff from a idiot backing into me in parking lot.

Default FS: Clean 2001 Porsche Boxster S (IL) & Wayne Dempsey's book

Actually I am selling a copy of "101 Projects for Your Porsche Boxster" by Wayne R. Dempsey. I will throw in a very nice 2001 Porsche Boxster S to sweeten the deal!

2001 Porsche Boxster S (986S) with 115k miles. Perfect for B Street autocross!

Very clean and fully serviced at 109k miles, oil was also changed again with Mobil 1 last month (<500 miles ago). Looks and drives like a car with less than half the miles! Runs and drives very smooth. The pre-purchase inspection was preformed by German Motor Werks, where the car was given a clean bill of health. Anything that was found, has been taken care of. A nicely equipped S, that clearly has had a good life. Never been in the snow or salt. No issues, no leaks, no stories, just a wonderful driving Porsche Boxster S that needs nothing. This Porsche is faster, smoother, and drives nicer than comparable S2000's and MX5's. I'm selling it for $10,200 firm. There are cheaper 986S cars out there, but after deferred maintenance, you are going to spend a lot more than $11,000.

Here is the work that was just completed:

• Brakes -- Rotors and pads front and rear.
• New spark plugs
• All new belts
• All new fluids -- cooling system, brake fluid, transmission fluid and oil. The last two done with synthetic oil.
• New Bilstein HD shocks and a new alignment, which is the best thing to do when you change any suspension parts.
• Drain plugs/channel under the top has been thoroughly cleaned so they drain properly. A common thing that is not done on these cars.
• Front bumper removed so they could properly clean out the front radiators.

The Boxster S has these upgrades over the base Boxster:

• 250hp 3.2L engine
• 6 speed manual transmission
• dual exhaust
• different front bumper
• the "Big Red" Porsche brakes

This Porsche Boxster has:

• power convertible top in great shape, crystal clear rear window
• matching set of Continental DWS high performance all season tires
• power everything
• cruise control
• cold AC
• cd player
