Re: Now for something different. 1986 Prelude 2.0 Si Retromod
Some non potato quality pics of the wheels after a pic of cleaning/polishing. Some center caps still need a bit more work.
plus some pics from late summer that I edited. Summer can't come fast enough, dying here in NY.
Can't wait to drop these things on and roll with the windows down again. Few more months to go.
Mugen rear aero is getting dropped off this week to be refinished, also getting the G1 integra front lip extended and mounted. Seat rails for the Recaro's are gonna be made soon as I remember to drop them off at the shop. Hopefully by March half the stuff I have to get done will be finished so I can focus on the rest of the stuff I have to get onto this car before show season starts back up.

Just got a sample back from the printer for the Mugen plates i'm gonna be making.
finished version will have gold lettering/decals instead of the white.

The plates are finally finished! got them in from the printer earlier in the week but didn't get a chance to take pics until today.
here is a shot of the original for reference:
Came out pretty close to the originals. I also have a different style plate that is even closer, but I have to paint and apply the decals to those still.

stunning!!! I mean that, it's gorgeous
in 2004/5 I had an 86 prelude winter beater. after driving it all winter and going back to my 98 civic, it felt like my ebrake was stuck on - in fact it was just the lack of torque in the civic LOL
any info on what appears to be a single windscreen wiper on the mugen brochure?

This winter has been BRUTAL, and more snow coming in the next day or so. Hope I can get these MR5's on asap, dying to see what they look like.

Small update:
Just a quick preview of the MR5s. Had to use the extended lug nuts (so no lug caps), while I wait for both the new short open end lug nuts to arrive and warmer weather.
Can't wait for the warmer weather so I can rock these things officially and give the CF48s a bit of a break and much needed refinishing.

Got a few shots today but didn't realize until later that the lug caps weren't on when I took the pics. Here is one from the set:
and a bonus of the car with the mugen plate on
Just did all the brakes and am getting ready for the warmer weather. Decided to just buy seat rails for the Recaro's and am just going to get them from yahoo auctions japan.

Re: Now for something different. 1986 Prelude 2.0 Si Retromod
Been a long *** time since my last update. Finally got around to mounting the 86-97 Integra front lip that I scooped up a while ago. Was a pretty straight forward install. Lip had to be split down the middle to widen it up but once a piece of plastic welded in there it will be perfect.
and a few glamour shots from last night after I got done mounting it and cleaning the car.
Aside from the lip being put on hot much else to show. Gonna see about getting seat rails still from yahoo auctions japan since that seems like the easiest way to get rails for the 2G that work with the recaro's.

I know this has been a long time coming and haven't updated in FOREVER but....
FINALLY! The Recaro LX-B's are mounted and are sooooo much better than the oem seats at holding me in the corners at speed. No more sliding from the lateral g's
Gonna order the proper mounting rails but my adapter set up will work for now albiet at a slightly lower than normal seating position.

Re: Now for something different. 1986 Prelude 2.0 Si Retromod
Started refinishing the trim on the car. Started with the front lip and also did the front bumper. Took a long *** time to tape it up so I didn't get to the rear bumper today. I also picked up an 86 CRX Si that is taking up time also.
