94 accord wagon build
[SIZE="4"]hey all, from cary nc if yall dont know me.
let me know if you have any questions... this is a f22b1 build for a 94 accord wagon
bought a 94 accord 5 speed with 220,000 miles on the first f22 then the previous ownder swapped a newer f22 motor which now has 188,000 miles (he got it with 90,000miles) with vtec.....cars had a lot of miles put on it..
clean title, no previous accidents, all of the body is original
plan is to rebuild my f22b with forged pistson rods etc with h22 lsd tranny and turbo about 15lbs..
i picked up the car and it looked like:
more recent:.

Re: 94 accord wagon build
so first i started with redoing the ENTIRE old suspension. replaced everythign with MOOG problemsolver parts from rockauto.com...-replaced all control arms, tie rod ends, camber arms etc
-brembo blanks and hawk hps pads all around
-koni adjustable struts with h&r springs
-replaced all wiper blades with bosch icons
-replaced taillights, got oem the old ones were cracked
-AEM cold air intake with k&n filter
-mugen twinloop exhaust
picked up some rota d2s (17x7.5 and 17x8.5 +25 all around) for CHEAP so thats why i have staggered fitment, 225/45/17 michilin a/s plus
figured might as well start with that since the motor still runs
my civ and the wagon the day i got it
test fit:

Re: 94 accord wagon build
Looking good. Which H&R springs did you get for it?
I've been pondering a US H22 with automatic swap (so my wife can drive it) for my 97. Haven't found anybody that has done this yet.

Re: 94 accord wagon build
Its basically stock with add on's so nothing special. It has a P12 ECU, ebay headers, ebay cat back exhaust, ebay short ram intake, and oversized pistons (0.50mm OS).
Here is the video of it 0-60. And don't mind the music from youtube music lol, I did it to cut out the voiceover. There was a hole in the exhaust and I was going uphill during this. It should have been faster.

It was a dead CB7 but I revived it again with a rebuild. Wasn't going for much power, it was my very first rebuild, the first time I have done something this grand with my honda.

Re: 94 accord wagon build
the adjustable is basically 2 height options, mines on the lowest. and then the front struts can be adjusts from the top for stiffness/softness.
pm me if u want the link, i can look on my recent purchases.
Haven't tested it. My estimate is about 145 maybe 150. Its an automatic f22a1.

figured out this weekend my headgasket is blown. so its either i get new head gasket and piston rings and few other small parts and have it run through winter, or do the rebuild now.

Re: 94 accord wagon build
shes starting to look....Different.
my civic in the shop:
Anybody have an thoughts on what forged pistons and rods to get? for a f22b1 (sohc vtec)
i was thinkin about gettin bisimoto's deal for 759 shipped
"F22A/F22B H beam rod and 9.1:1 piston combo! Set of 4 replacement H beam steel LONG rods for the F22A, and F22B, coupled with 86mm custom Bisimoto spec forged pistons at 9.1:1 compression ratio. Excellent for 300-800whp."
I want about 350 whp, 400ish max. and was thinkin about a slightly larger turbo, not huge, dont know which one but dont want a small one for sure.

Re: 94 accord wagon build
Sweet Wagon! I chimed in on your other thread, but I will share the same info here to for you.
From what I read about your power goals, it is going to require aftermarket rods and forged pistons to be reliable.
Bisimoto custom forged pistons are manufacturer by Arias Pistons here in Southern California and are machined from the highest quality billet aluminum to insure integrity in a very lightweight design. Bisimoto steel H-beam rods have also been proven to handle 800whp with a proper tune and feature ARP bolts to handle high rpm use.
This will give you piece of mind knowing that your bottom end will handle your goals with out any problem and not to mention you won't find a better deal than $759 with free shipping for forged pistons and steel rods!
Hit me up if you have any questions, I am always available at the office M-F.
P.S. Here is just one of my clients F22 bottom end that we have built for his killer street project. It features this same Bisimoto piston/rod combo along with our heavy duty wrist pin upgrade, pistons coatings and Golden Eagle sleeved block. This bottom end will easily handle 800+ WHP for track days and 600+ WHP for street use!

Re: 94 accord wagon build
With 222k miles on it I would check if the cylinder walls are out of round, with 333k on mine they were, and even after I had it honed out it wasn't completely symmetrical so I went oversize and had them bored out. So just some heads up there, check the walls out.
Mines a wagon and i'm being tempted to have it turbo'd as well, however it has stock internals.
Nice engine bay pics with the head off. It reminds me of mine after its overhaul,
