Re: trouble starting car after replacing timing belt and water pump
Does it crank? Could be your crankposition sensor. Did you take it off to replace the seal and forget to put it back on? Or if you hooked the battery up backwards or grounded it out by accident, then that could result in some damage to the electrical system.

Re: trouble starting car after replacing timing belt and water pump
The crank position sensor for this car should be in the distributor not on the oil pump.
You should check your timing again. Assuming the only thing u did was replace the timing belt and water pump that's really the only thing it should be. If you touched anything else at the same time then it could be something else.

Sounds dumb but unplug the larger connector around the distributor and the distributor one and reconnect with a lot of force. Happened twice on 2 diff f22 they were seated correctly.... Or so they looked secure but guess not. Also check the ground cable on driver side motor mount
