No reverse? help
i have a auto 94 eg with a auto b18b1 from my 97 integra, my problem is that when i put the car in reverse nothing happens but the reverse lights still come on, it acts like it goes from park to neutral and just skips the reverse gear. when it was in the integra before the swap reverse worked fine.

could it be that i needed to swap the shift cable too,because i am running the civic cable still?

any help would be great. thanks

def get it checked, when the car drives does it also shift through all the gears normally?

I have not been able to check yet because i cant get it out of my garage wihout reverse

Here's a correction to the previous one:
Correction:
Tcm d11 gry-ecm b4 gry**
-the D11 gry takes place of that B4 grn/blk you have in there. Just unplug the grn/blk and slide in the D11 gry wire directly into the plug.

**Also remember that B4 ECM grn/blk connects to TCM Plug A17, like in the How-To.

I got it to go in reverse finally, went to go test drive the car. I got to the end of my driveway and the cel came on but i went to the end of the street anyways, got halfway there and the engine started acting all funny:

In D4 and D3 at about 20 mph the rpms will jump from 1500 to 2000 and wont let me go any faster like its in limp mode, but in 2 and 1 it works just fine

Got home and pulled the cel... There were 2 codes,34? I know code 9 is for #1 cylinder positon but what is 34? If its even a real code.
