P.R.E. 82X89 LSV dyno
I know some of you guys have already seen this but i figured it may be of use for some members on here. I built this lsvtec on a budget with simple parts and this is on just pump gas because it doesn't have the crazy amount of compression that everyone on here is used to seeing. The car has gone 12.33 at 110+ mph, weighs over 2300 lbs, and is our daily driver.
Still looking to see if more power can be made (if my budget will allow it) with a different header (Jack Myers, SMS, etc E-85, etc so we'll see
Setup is really simple:
82mm RS ITR Pistons
LS crank
stock rods with ARPs
Ported Head
Cams
valvesprings
modded Px (Dynochart of stock Px on page 4)
Toda Copy
-Tou
US ITR Pistons not PR3s, P30s, PCTs haha
Modded Performer X

Re: P.R.E. 82X89 LSV dyno
Compression came out about 11.53:1 after cc'ing the head, piston to deck, and the rest of the measurements. Like I said before, it's not the usual high compression build that everyone usually prefers to see. Compression is also not the end all be all.

are those SAE, STD, or Uncorrected numbers? strong setup. any idea how much the head flows?
what was done to the performerX? any ideas on the flow of the plenum? any changes to the runners?

awesome power with this CR, people overated CR almost all the time without taking time for the detail that really makes power.
the only thing I don't love on your setup is the stock rod @ 9400 rpm

Injectors were RDX with the tophats all from Xenocron
The stock rods with ARP bolts have been going for 3 years strong of daily driving and numerous trips to 10k rpms haha (knocks on wood)

Always love your builds ,the numbers are amazing , it just shows you with the right person building a motor you can accomplish great things . I finally got my car running hope to see the dyno soon , going to try to compare a custom header to a off the shelf header and maybe cams etc
Any pics of it on the track

Love this build I need a similar intake manifold and some e85 since I have probably 12.5-1 compression on a 1.8 also just gsr crank and only 81.5mm pistons

Great build. I have a similar build I'm helping a friend on. I believe I pm'd you a while back about it. Hoping to see at least 210. A custom header should definitely get you some nice power.

Re: P.R.E. 82X89 LSV dyno
I can you tell you on my car which is a 1.8 with ctr and a gsr crank it was +3.5intake +1.5 exhaust or maybe the other way around can't remember haven't looked at them in awhile haha but a good 2* of seperation never got to moving them around because I need to go E85 since all i had was 22* of ignition timing before we started to get pinging,
