'97 GSR - ABS code 1-8
As stated, have a '97 GSR with an (almost) constant ABS light. I'm pretty clueless about ABS. The light comes on pretty much as soon as the ABS pump stops, it runs for about 5-10 seconds. (Very) occasionally, the light won't turn on. The pump turns on very infrequently when driving, maybe once every 15-30 minutes?
I've tried resetting the ECU and wiggling the ABS ECU connector, doesn't seem to make a difference; the light comes back on again after. I've also tried replacing the accumulator o-ring and the reservoir o-ring, same thing.
Bad accumulator? Bad modulator unit? Open to suggestions, thanks

if the pump continues to run after the intial pressurizing on start up, it's likely not holding pressure. did a little reading and apparenty the most common cause is a leaking solenoid valve in the modulator. not serviceable.
i take it you bled the system thoroughly?
there is also an O ring on the motor which can be accessed with the motor being unbolted from the modulator. that, and the other 2 O ring s are the only serviceable seals i believe. however, i'm pretty sure that if that seal goes, system won't build pressure.
