1997 Civic Si H22a4 swap
Hey, I've recently bought a 97 civic si with an h22a4 swap from a 98 prelude. The car wasn't running when i bought it and was told that everything just needs to be put together, so i'm just connecting everything together and I'm just wondering where the stock ECU is for me to switch over to the H22a4 ECU that came with the car. And i have also been told the 97 civic never came in the Si trim, so i'm a little confused, can someone help me out?! Thanks for your time.
PS. Any other information I should know about this swap/car would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks (:

Re: 1997 Civic Si H22a4 swap
99-00 civic is the only year for an EM1 (SI).
I would suggest getting an obd2a (if the car is still obd2a) to obd1 jumper harness, and running a chipped p28 with a h22 basemap.
H22a4 is an SH prelude engine, so if you ever change transmissions... You NEED an SH trans.
What engine harness? (Year,Model)
What mount kit?
What axles?

Thanks for the help guys, got it to turn over and all, replaced the distributor cap and the coil and it still wont start. I don't think i'm getting any spark to the spark plugs, so i'm not sure what to do next.
