B18a1 swap 92 civic hatch HELP!!!!!!
OK HERES the problem i swap a ls in to my hatch everything went perfect SO i thought
i started it up and it idles Perfect ..
u go to press the gas and it bogs down and acts like it has no power Timing is dead on
its throwing a cel Map but i replaced it and reset the ecu and still nutting
PLS HELP ME i really need my car running

its hard to help with so little info but the map sensor is directly related to manifold vacuum. so i would go purchase a vacuum guage and check your vacuum you may have a leak.

Ok so i got the map sensor problem fixed and the boging problem so i thought
so heres what its doing now .....it will start up idle fine and if u give it some gas to raise the idle up it will go but when u go to stop it will die and u have to get the idle to raise again and go ....any ideals !!!!!!

a cylinder leak down test will pin point it for u. shooting air into the cylinder u must listen where u hear the air escaping. hear it whistling in the oil pan through the dip stick tube its your rings. hear it in ur head bent valve or shot valve guides. air bubbles in your coolant you can guess cracked cylinder wall or head gasket shot on that cylnder.
