2000 Honda Civic w/ B18B1 no spark
Hi i just bought a 2000 Civic with a B18B1 from a 1999 Integra. Its running a 99 LS OBD2a ecu. P75isnt getting any spark. When the previous owner had it he said it was acting like it was missing so he started removing plug wires while it was running. when he got to the second one, it quit and never started again. It has the CKF sensor bypass or whatever its called and we replaced the whole distributor with a remanned one from the parts store and it still didnt have spark. its getting fuel but no spark. ive been looking around the forum with no luck on this particular swap. where should i start? we also put the old dizzy back on and returned the new one. could something be wrong in the dizzy? im leaning towards wiring tho cuz some of the harness by the ECU is a lil hacked but all of the wires are connected and seem to look like a good connection. Timing belt is intact. there was a security system wired into the ignition switch wiring but we pulled it out. had a yellow box that said Man Trans only. but all the wiring seems to still be intact just doesnt look good, lots of splices/connectors involved. also all the fuses under dash and under hood are good. no CEL. where should i go from here??? Any help greatly appreciated. need to get the car running ASAP

CKF sensor is at the CRANK PULLEY, not at the distributor. If the motor still has the factory cover (behind the crank pulley), it won't be a 5min job to get to it.

Re: 2000 Honda Civic w/ B18B1 no spark
it wouldnt hurt to do a compression check. i also had the same starting issue last month and did a comp test and found out that 2 cylinders were not getting any comp then pulled the head off and 2 valves were broken in pieces.
so i slapped on a b16 head and went vtec and that solved the problem
