I would recommend a new oil sensor as well, it's located to the left of the oil pan. When I did my timing on my 95 Accord it kept flashing the oil light. Turns out it was just the sensor. I have no idea why it went out right after the job. Perhaps this might save you a small headache though. Let me know how it goes.

You don't have to replace the oil pressure switch if it's not leaking once you disconnect the connector. Usually when those oil pressure switch goes bad, they leak oil when you remove the electrical connector. Had it happened two weeks ago after I dropped in a used F22B1 into my little brother's '95 Accord. When I had the motor sitting out of the car and disconnected the connector while oil was dripping out, I don't know why it didn't hit me right then that it'll probably leak when it's running inside the car. After the swap, it was smoking from under the hood when I had it parked. So I inspected further at work on a hoist, turned to be the leaky oil pressure sender that I didn't replace when I had it out. So I transferred the old one over to the new engine and no more leaky oil from underneath.

Fors78, looks like you've got everything. When I ordered the water pump for my B1, it came with all the water pump seals from Honda. I didn't have to order anything separately for the water pump but double check with your Honda dealer though, might be different there. I hope the crank gear seal is the front main seal behind the timing gear and that the crank oil seal is the rear main seal. Good Luck!

Is this something that would have to have the timing cover etc. taken back off to change later on?

You say rear main seal, from what I have read the rear main seal is on the other side of the engine between the transmission and the engine, a whole different job?

Why change Balancer pulley and Timing Pulley? Did you change the pulleys every time you change timing belt?

I just did my timing belt as well on my 00 Accord. I bought all my parts on Ebay. All genuine OEM Honda parts too. Costs me $256. Did the belts, springs, tensioners, water pump and oil seals. If you like Ebay, check it out. Just search the parts numbers. I guarantee you'll save money. I saved about $140 from where I was originally going to buy them from, Majestic Honda.

*scratches head*
Am I missing something?
I get a FelPro VC gasket, Gates timing kit(belts/tensioners) and Gates WP from RockAuto for ~100 shipped, and then coolant from the local ORLY.

*shrug*

Sure, your parts source is questionable at best. For ever person who says the have used Gates/FelPro with no problems, you'll likely find 5 who have had problems and horror stories. Doesnt make you wrong,to each their own.....

.....however as a professional mechanic of 18 years,I recommend OEM parts when ever financially feasible.
