Which Tranny Is Best for B16A, GSR OR LS
Two things i would be doing,
Race the local Cars Here
And Daily Driving
Which of these trannys would be best without wasting a lot of gas?

GSR is going to have better ratios for racing, while LS is going to save you gas on your commute. They weigh themselves out you just have to pick which is more important to you.

ls tranny has longer gear ratios and the gsr would be good you would use less fuel but you would notice a big difference in the final drive of the gsr

I would go B16 with LS 5th gear set to help keep RPMs down at highway speeds since you are concerned with fuel economy.
Or if you can swing it...Type R since it comes with a factory Limited Slip Differential and add the LS 5th gear set.

You'll get better economy with a B16 trans than you will a GSR, LS, or B16 with LS 5th.
For the average driver with current gas prices it will take a couple of years for a trans swap or 5th gear swap to pay for itself in fuel savings.
Just an FYI.
