Cant figure out Coolant Lines / EGR Lines / Recirc Lines??
Hey guys....
CHASSIS: EJ6 - 96' civic DX
MOTOR: Vtec DelSol Motor - D16
Been tryin to get this swap done and get this car goin again and have been runnin into some snags. I took a couple of pictures of some of the lines Im speaking of. Let me know if you guys have any ideas...
The car had a B-Series in it for a while. Then had a different D-Series that had blown rings, but was all in and together and running. Took out and now a few months later putting another D-Series in.
This line is running from the passenger side of the head. Its a coolant line. Thought it ran to the firewall???
But then theres this line coolant line that runs from the back passenger side of the head??
This open line i think has to do with the heater core and cabin cooling?? which has all been disconnected in my car...??? The line running through the firewall is connected to this hole.
Where my battery connects i think Im missing the positive connector/line?? The one shown connects to the starter mabye?? Bc i dont think i saw that line either...
The brake booster line goes into this port on the manifold no?? Im 99% sure thats right just double checking..
The metal hard line that is circled is coming off the EGR system on the fuel rail? I think it goes with the rubber hose shown which is a fuel return line?? yes? no?? lol.....
Lastly, this whole recirculation/EGR/hard lines from nowhere bs.... thinking about taking the manifold off the other motor an running that....

1st pic hose goes to 3rd pic heater valve
2nd pic is correct
4th pic that looks like the charge wire from the alt should go to the fuse box in the pic
lift the cover there will be two white wires like that that go in there
one from alt to fuse box and one from fuse box to batt + you will see the little bolts in the fuse box
5th pic is correct
6-7 EGR Im not sure about them but 6 is not right
i think RonJ would be able to give you a diagram or just search for "EGR DIAGRAM"
In regard to the Batt + cable looks like you missing it all to gether should go from starter to Batt+
2nd pic is correct
4th pic that looks like the charge wire from the alt should go to the fuse box in the pic
lift the cover there will be two white wires like that that go in there
one from alt to fuse box and one from fuse box to batt + you will see the little bolts in the fuse box

6-7 EGR Im not sure about them but 6 is not right
