Icon6 95 Accord EX Vtec dead fuel pump ?

Stock F22b1 5th gen accord , has power , spark , replaced fuel filter , checked all fuses , cleaned injectors , I can hear the fuel pump kick on when the key goes to the II position however when I try to start the car it cranks and cranks but will not turn over . Pulled the injectors and rail out of the block to check if they were spitting fuel into the cylinders and got 0 fuel out of the injectors . Dieing fuel pump getting power but not able to actually pump fuel or am I barking up the wrong tree ? I attempted to drop the tank earlier today and discovered that the nut for the drivers side strap has broken off it's holder , making that bolt free spin when I try to remove it , any suggestions for fixing this issue ?

Since the pump is priming, I would think it is fine, and that your main relay is fine. Go to this website http://techauto.awardspace.com/mainrelay.html and go through the troubleshooting from main relay on to ignition.

Before you swap out the pump, check two things. First, buy a noid light, theyre pretty cheap, and plug it into an injector plug. Crank car, it should blink on and off, indicating a good pulse coming from computer. If thats good, check fuel pressure.

why drop the tank? you could of saved your self time and seen if its a clogged fuel pump with a pressure tester. if you have pressure your looking at possible ecu or dizzy. i forgot what sends open close info to the injectores. i think it was the crank sensor or cam sensor dont remember. or like i said it could be your dizzy since your not obd2 it should have the cam position sensor inside the dizzy. which at that point you have to replace it. the dizzy is what tells an obd1 honda when to open and close injectors

UPDATE

After going through the replies I tested the pressure , 0 pressure . I pulled the main relay and checked it for cracked solder joints , 0 cracks . The relay does click , I turned the key to the II position and felt the relay click so I know that the pump is getting power . If I'm not getting any pressure what else can I check before dropping the tank and forking over $120 for a new fuel pump ?

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR. BUT IF YOU HEAR THE PUMP PRIME THEN ITS WORKING. IF YOU HAVE 0 PRESSURE THEN EITHER ITS CLOGGED OR A PASSAGE IS CLOGGED. WHAT YOU COULD DO IS TEST FUEL PRESSURE BEFORE THE FUEL FILTER SEE WHAT YOU GET

That's what I did . I dropped a small pan under the fuel filter and loosened the flare nut on the bottom of the filter , turned key to II position and got 0 fuel from the line .

Ok I disconnected the fuel filter completely from the steel line at the flare nut , primed the pump and got 0 fuel . Turned on the air compressor and gave it a couple blasts of air @ 120psi to the line , my fiancee was at the fuel door and could hear and feel the air being blown through the line . This says to me that there is no clog in the line . Bad fuel pressure regulator ?

Fuel pressure regulator is after the fuel filter on these cars. If you were able to blow air back into the tank from the end of the steel line, I would imagine that the soft line inside the tank has come disconnected from the fuel pump.

Tank has been removed but what soft line am I looking for ? As far as I can tell the only line I see is connected just fine . Contemplating swapping pumps and throwing her back together just to see what happens but don't want to waste my time if that doesn't fix the issue .

its your pump it has to be. check your filter at the pump. you probably unclogged it when you send air to the fuel tank. before you put the tank back check for 12 volts when turning the key. maybe its not getting its full strength to build pressure

I hooked up a voltmeter to the connection and got 23V going to the pump , does that sound right or am I reading the voltmeter wrong ?

Source voltage is what the pump should be getting, backtrace that wire but before you do that.Get a voltage drop across the wire leading to the pump and and before closest connector. Another Thing, is get a reading off that fuel pump. Should be three wires maybe four. Power , signal , ground and maybe temp sensor. Pull specs should use a 5volt ref but every model is diff so google will help.

It's pulling 8.8V at both the battery and the pump , battery needs recharged so that's another thing I get to do .
