Re: Axle life for k20
^I've heard generally good things about raxles and gator axles from RR/autoxers locally, but with axles it seems like there's always someone out their with a legitimate sounding bad experience but too many outside factors to say what's at fault (particularly with lowered cars and K swaps). DSS seems to be the place to go for their higher end drag stuff. Raxles quoted me $220 shipped + tax, Gator was $193 + tax + shipping, for 1 axle (driver side), looking on car-part a used Ep3 driver side axle is $50-$80 (but there's none local to me) and works as it is, if I replaced/purchased both (my passenger side seems good tho) Rsx base axles would be about the same $100-$160 for the pair and would need the inners swapped (so I would have to purchase both)

Re: Axle life for k20
Not to be a Raxles nut swinger but Marty's always done right by me. My ITA car lunched an axle years ago at Daytona... Marty replaced it. I called him up for axles for my current car and it was "Let me send you these. If there's anything wrong with the lengths or they don't work, call me back and I'll take care of it."
I've heard very good stuff about Gator axles as well (know several IT racers who use them).
The first hand stuff I've heard (and seen) with regard tot DSS would make me hesitant to go to them for roadrace parts. Drag racing, sure but not RR/Autox.
