I have been tuning my car at the track. my sohc non vtec went 7.0@103 1/8th on pump gas with out a dyno tune.i wanted to up the boost but it gets rich and i cant control the fuel. i dont see specs on the plugs but something is going on.
1) Agreed.

2) You have some roots about tuning others don't, And they need to read and
learn before that and by practice in the game they well tune the hell of it!

3) Use another Wide band O2 Sensor rather than the one your using right now,Read your wide band sensor manual for when you have to replace the sensor upon your usage, And first don't forget to check your full Down pipe's as well your car exhaust systems for any leak's because it will effect the wide band O2 Sensor reading, an let us now WATS up.

This might help i no you no it but others don't.

Seriously? where did you come from?... this is such a good "basics" write-up, it's helped me understand and diagnose more about my car than I could have ever imagined, one of the more useful threads I've ever come across... Thank you VERY much for taking the time to make it. Your work is appreciated

+1 to you sir.

Did you clean the plugs first and then do a WOT pull and shut the engine off and pull them?

If the plugs have any kind of normal driving miles on them and they weren't cleaned first then reading them is a bit useless.

Hi guys! I have a question ! In the last image posted of a daily driven plugs, I see little spots almost everywhere. Isn't that a sign of detonation? Can someone post a spark plug with sign of detonation? not a melted one! Just a light one, in order to better understand how it looks like. I can only find pics of melted plugs...

Thanks a lot
