Unplug the switch and then short the 2P connector with a jumper wire. Does the fan now run?

Unplug the 2P connector on the fan switch. With the key in ON(II), does the green wire terminal have battery voltage to body ground?

The 1-wire temp sending unit is located below the distributor. Unplug it. Clean the connector and sending unit of oil and then fully seat the connector back on the unit.

The casing around the end of the connector is torn back so i rewired it and cleaned it. Now when you say does it have power meaning turn the key on and test for power with a test light grounding it to the body??

With the key in ON(II), now test whether the both top test tabs of 7.5A dash fuse 17 have battery voltage to body ground. Click the fuses link in my signature.

What do you mean by both? Like check the top of the fuse or the cavity that holds the fuse or both?

Ok i checked it out. The #17 fuse has a 20 amp fuse in its place. I checked the fuse itself and it has power through it. So i pulled the fuse and check the cavity that holds the fuse and the top slot does not have power but the bottom does wiht the key on.

Just to be clear, are you saying that both top test tabs of installed fuse 17 have battery voltage? If so, now check whether the fan relay in the hood fuse box gets voltage from the Blk/Yel wire via fuse 17.

Also install the proper 7.5A fuse in the #17 slot.

If you did this^ voltage test with the fuse installed in the dash fuse box, then the fuse is blown. Did you click the link in my signature?
