Deleting IACV / TB coolant lines. Success?

Deleting IACV / TB coolant lines. Success?
Just trying to clean up the engine bay and get rid of all the clutter and old oem lines.
I noticed MOST of the lines under my t/b are simply coolant lines looping everywhere.
This is on a JDM dohc zc but may be the same for others. This one coolant line travels this path
Port off water tube -> IACV inlet -> IACV outlet -> throttle body inlet -> throttle body outlet -> Intake manifold between the runners
Basically I could delete where it runs to the IACV and t/b by simply looping it from the port off the water tube on the back of the block, right to the intake manifold. And putting vacuum caps on the deleted ports.
Would there be any negative affects in my idle or performance?

i did mine and ran good, BUT i did run lines straight to the iacv and not the tb just because i didnt want it idle weird. Looks clean just bought the water lines at autozone and ran them under the intake manifold so you wouldnt be able to see them

Not sure if the JDM dohc zc has a FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve), but it is usually located on the underside of the throttle body. Some TBs have it and some do not. Bypassing the coolant lines on the IACV and FITV (lines under TB) should only affect idle if you live in colder climates. Mine are bypassed and rerouted like you are wanting to do and I have never had any problems. On colder mornings you just have to let the car warm up a little bit longer.

No there is no FITV on my car
I do live in Canada, so it is definetely rather cold in april may and september october when I would be driving the car just before and after snow season
Im not to sure what to do

Well if anyone knows if you can simply loop the line from the waterpipe to the intake manifold, bypassing both the IACV and throttle body, with no idle problems. Id love to hear good or bad of the results. THanks

Smh it seems like you have no knowledge to your car or honda which is okay hence its a tech forum but why not post all your problems or question in one thread instead of multiple ones ………???
Anyways you live in canada which is way colder than socal. The point of the iacv is so that your car idle high for a while in the morning or cold seasons so it would warm up faster without you waiting 20 mins for your car to warm up ……the lines that go to the throttle body are there for a reason too. The reason is so that with the cold temperatures your throttle body won't freeze up ……you want an answer to your issues cheaply cap off all the lines or run the lines back to the block and unplug your iacv but you will have to wait for the car to warm up. An ecu code and mpg will be bad

Because this way people actually look at the thread when its for something specific. And it is easily searchable for people in the future with the same problem.
I search like a mother effer, dont think I just make thread after thread. I spend 3+ hours a day so far scouring old threads, and make my own when I cannot find an answer
I guess Ill leave them alone, maybe just replace them and route them in a better fashion.
It just seem like so many failure points for a coolant leak to have some many connections and clamps

No need to replace the sensors just clean them hoses do please replace them cuz after 20 something years of coolant they rott
You could just buy new hoses from honda and claps if you please …or not

I doubt my local honda dealership is smart enough to order jdm specific parts. Ill just remove the hoses and measure it and buy generic fuel line to replace it I guess. Its those nice springs clamps I hate giving up in leu of the shitty worm clamps

Unfortunally none off you honda dealers will have jdm parts ……but they do got parts for the d16a8 wich is the same as a zc dohc just in an acura integra

I wish they sold those fuel line clamps in bigger sized. I will definetely pick them up if they make them for that small coolant lines that I was talking about deleting. Hopefully in stainless steel

Re: Deleting IACV / TB coolant lines. Success?
I have been running with the TB coolant delete for years and never a problem. I also made and have been using a thermo-gasket and thermo-washers for the IACV which helps keep the IM temps abit. But none of these mods will help once the engine is completely heat soaked.
Being in Virginia, I do not have to worry about the cold as much as you northern neighbors, but if I lived up there, I diffidently would not have done this mod.
