well I didnt plan on it being the DD just a fun weekend/track car but the way things are looking it might have to be. The integra is getting fuel no spark. The motor cranks and the crankshaft spins including the alternator belt.....unfortunately the timing belt does not. Maybe tensioner? or ill get lucky enough with just a new belt maybe the teeth are gone where I cant see idk. Im going to start tearing it apart tomorrow. I hope I didnt bend any valves :'( Idk im about to make a post in the integra section to see what the integra guys think might be the cause of this.

it is no longer a y7 in case you didnt read all the way through

and im considering some slicks for next time at the track or maybe instead of building a sleeved gsr block and 28psi over winter i might just throw some rods and pistons in it relatively soon w/ some id1000s and 20ish psi for this year in the b16. Idk it all depends on funds. The gf is due in october for our first kid so im trying to put some money away for that.

yes i did read thru and that was just to explain to him that he had a particulalry better motor than you and its enough to make a difference so he really couldnt compare them

sounds good although gsr is my fave engine besides k frankenstein (k24 w/ k20 head) but yes either sounds great!

now i must ask you this, ever consider running on E85?

and is E85 easily available for you where you live?

in case you dont know if any are close you can use the app called flex-fuel to locate all in your area and even get directions to them (if you have an iphone or phone with ability to download apps)

Yes actually I have seriously considered e85 and it is readily available. My original plan involved e85 with the sleeved Gsr block and 28psi off that gt30 but after talking to The Shodan who is a very knowledgeable guy told me that is have a better chance of reaching my power goal on race gas. There's a BP that sells race gas in town and this car is not a daily driver so its not like it would matter either way. Idk I go back and forth every day on the e85/race gas decision.

Right now I'm kinda thinking stock sleeves in the b16 on pump gas and see what kind of boost and power i can put down on the dyno.

nice! well yeaa i dont have race gas available, well i do but its a daily so thats too expensive. i went with E85 on my build cus its cheaper than 85 octane in florida and it pulls more power, i beleive its technically 105 octane while racing gas is 116

alright its been awhile since I posted any updates but I took the coupe to the track about a month ago. 2nd pass was a 12.8 @112 on those all seasons with a 2.0 60ft and I played with the tune a bit and bumped up the boost a little.

Made a quick pull vid today its not the greatest but heres the link.

There are multiple kinds of race fuel. Some are leaded, some are not. They range from ~94 to ~120 octane. You can also feed our cars AvGas, which offers even higher octanes, but is much harder to get your hands on. Also, E85 being 105 octane is a myth. It's actually 94-96, depending on the ethanol content.

If you'd like, I can sit here and educate you all day on race fuels

Also, OP, you've got a good build going so far. Liking that RT, but it could be better!

If funds permit I'm looking to have some slicks, bigger injectors, rods, pistons, and a bigger fmic + about 28psi from that gt30 and upgrading to hondata by next season. And a real Dyno tune. My buddy is boosting his s2k over winter and we are thinking we might see if we can get one full day to have Jeff Evans tune them both. Don't wanna make 2 trips.

I've heard good things about them as well. I'm running a Mishimoto black Z line, loving the **** out of it. Also have to give it credit, it's baffled well enough that when my turbo blew the other day, zero oil got through.

Just a little update.

Haven't been on here in awhile so I thought I would give you guys a little update. Getting ready to start the build for this year.
Here's the parts list for this year:
Eagle rods
Cp 9:1s 81mm
Arp headstuds and mains
GE fuel rail
Id1000s(already ordered through phearable
I think I'm gonna go with the dw300 pump
Hondata s300 +boost
Go-Autoworks R fmic
20+psi
Slicks
Few other things too, waiting on that tax return Haha.
I'll start uploading pics as soon as the parts start rolling in.
