Re: LiLBabyKenny's function=form RSX
UPDATE 3/19
Made small progress on the car today... Only spent about an hour in the garage because I had to stop to go to the gym and I didn't have materials needed to continue. Tomorrow i'm going to pickup some cutoff wheels for my dremel, some stainless hardware for the strut king pedals, longer bolts for the rear mid bar, and some epoxy for a little interior project im going to be working on soon.
Got this in today. OEM type R strut bar, it was on my mental wtb list and one popped up for a 1/3 of retail so I scooped it up... Ordered it thursday night and it got here this morning:thumbsup:

Started pulling the rear interior to install the 02-04 to 05-06 converted tail light harness, the rear mid bar, and the type R bar

3-21 UPDATE
Rear mid bar installed, rear interior is staying out until the wiring is situated for the 05-06 conversion.

Started to work on the push start. I do not like the factory location and bezel that goes with the kit, so I decided to go the custom route. I'm putting the button in the mirror adjust button location, and relocating the mirror adjustment buttons into the change pocket below the bezel.

I could have left it like this, but I figured I'd just go ahead and shave it. So I secured the block off plate with epoxy and used it as a backing for the bondo to stick to.

Re: LiLBabyKenny's function=form RSX
Ya it was fun, but when I think of the reasons I sold it, I would do it again. I could have probably kept it if I sold my truck and used the RSX as a daily, but then the RSX wouldn't see all the mods I have planned for it and it would be pretty bland. I just missed having a "fun" weekend car, I guess i'm just more of a car guy then a bike guy.

Re: LiLBabyKenny's function=form RSX
Installed the pedals today.... It was a not fun to say the least. I'm 6'2 220, being down there for so long took its tole on me, but at least it's done.
On with the pics...
Started by cutting plastic to cover the backs of the dead pedal and gas pedal so that you don't see the ugly rubber cover on the gas pedal and dead pedal

Re: LiLBabyKenny's function=form RSX
Looks great so far man. There aren't that many RSX builds so its refreshing to see a nicely done one. Not a huge fan of tan interiors, but otherwise, the car is awesome.

Re: LiLBabyKenny's function=form RSX
Dropped off my rear bumper to get painted today... Should have it back monday or tuesday but I won't be able to do all of the tail light wiring and install it till next weekend because I have a lot going on with school this weekend and next week, after that the 05-06 conversion is done. I also picked up some track wheels that I will post pics of when I post pics of the bumper.
