if all you gopro users put your incar cameras to spot metering and just leave it you wont have issue with the overexposed videos

Agreed, I had mine setup that way before. I decided to do an update on the camera before we left for Cali and in doing so it changed all the settings on the camera. I had never had any issues with over exposure using spot metering in the past.
