Re: Ebay poli type r lip...
I bought a lip just like the one in the OP. It fit very well, and it actually looked like the OEM ITR lip. Some of the lips posted throughout this thread are "ITR Style" not "ITR Replica" lips. Sometimes the pictures on ebay are not the actual product so you have to make sure you know which you are getting

Very nice! Glad you followed my recommendation and chose baysonR. I believe Doe.industries has the same lip, but I know they aren't a ebay seller anymore. Did anyone buy the one in the OP from revolution.motors?

Go with the bayson R lip. Its virtually identical. Most of the others out there have that flare and call it 'type r style'. Too bad its a ctr style lip and looks poopy to me. If the image in ur first post is the exact version you are getting then its pretty close to oem also just like the bayson r lip. I have a wings west/comptech poly copy made by vis and its just as close to oem as bayson but i have not seen a bayson up close. Through various pictures ive seen though the bayson might have a far better mold then and if i were to buy another it would be a bayson r.

Re: Ebay poli type r lip...
I have done some extensive research on the type r replica lips. There are many off brands out there that sell lips that look exactly like the OEM type r usdm/ukdm/edm lips. But the one thing that makes some of those shitty are the fitment. Fitment is everything. And through my research I have found great reviews and great pics on the BAYSON R type r lip many people recommend that lip. Now on there site watch out cause they sell two versions and one of them is more like a CTR lip its very apparent. Get the one with the Phoenix yellow teggy as the picture. But my personal favorite is the WingsWest type r lip. A lot of people dont know this but the very rare and discontinued Comptech type r lip. Is made by WingsWest and are the exact same. Cant go wrong there.

Re: Ebay poli type r lip...
That is the one i just mentioned and posted. But ive seen enough real photos of painted and installed Bayon R lips to confirm that its as good as the comptech/wings west lip if not better. Cant go wrong either way except for price.

I agree this is the first time i am actually seeing the Bayson R lip installed from a buyer. I mean the Wingswest/Comptech lip is very nice And not as "off brand" But if your like me and dont want to spend alot on a lip that the roads in your city and your drive way will destroy anyways from the looks of it the Bayson R is the way to go. I still would recommend getting the OEM install hardware too though to keep the destroying to a minimum. I cant stand seeing lips and bumpers installed with wood screws and self tappers.

My Bayson R lip on my old DB8, Ive bought 2 now, they are the best looking replica lip for the money. The one I bought in 2010 didnt fit great but was ok, but the one I bought in 2011 fit better.

Re: Ebay poli type r lip...
^ i would love to be able to meet with other replica lip owners and get a up close look at fitment etc.
On my lip i actually bought the oem clips for the screw that would go where the oem type r lip does on the side near the fender. If u look at your fender liner theres a hole already there for it and i drilled a hole in my lip for this. I also added two similar clips to the bottom side of my bumper near the middle and used two screws identical to the license plate screws for those.
