Car: 2000 Honda Civic EX
Problem: Cant remove the exterior door handle

I looked up online but there wasnt a whole lot. I have a picture below. I have removed the (2) 10mm bolts, I have taken off the rods, and I have taken off that little clip, the spring and a white plastic piece that held the spring together. I am pretty sure this aluminum piece and gun metal colored piece has to come off but I cant figure it out.

By little clip do you mean the "U" shaped one that goes behind there?

there's a U shaped clip behind that assembly, accessed by the hole right above the lock.

There was a U shaped clip that I have already removed that would have been in the picture if its assembled right now. Its visable when looking directly at it.

So are you saying there is a U shaped clip behind the aluminum piece or the gun metal colored piece?

It's behind the aluminum piece. Stick a small flat head in the small hole at the bottom to pop it down
