Default CAN'T REMOVE inner pulley!! HELP!

Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to get the dang inner pulley off? I am so close to giving up on changing the main seal on my 95 Accord LX.

I cant get the pulley off. I can't get the key off the shaft either. I have...
1. PB blasted liberally between the pulley and crankshaft.
2. Tapped everywhere on pulley with wood dowel and hammer to shake loose
3. Tried hammering some wood shims between the block and the pulley
4. Tried channel locks with duct taped jaws on the pulley
5. I have even carefully applied some careful prying a screwdriver between block and pulley.
Nothing has budged this pulley!

Has anyone got a good tip on getting the inner pulley off? I'm ready to try a small torch to heat the pulley. Good or bad idea?

This happened to my buddy's H22A4. I have no clue how they got it out. I delt with another van that has a stuck gear on the crankshaft like yours in school one time. My instructor took care of it after school. He said he had to heat it up. Don't quote that on me though. Don't want the crank shaft to warp on you.

Have you tried Liquid Wrench?

A spray on application from advanced auto, it might help.

Try getting the "key" out first.....small screw driver...pliers, ect.

This should then give you a little "wiggle" room on the pulley.

VERY light heat to the gear with a hand held propane torch. Don't put enough heat to get any color change. Just like if the part was sitting in the sun it would expand a bit. Then a quick little smack with a wood block and hammer on the face of the gear to shock it into moving. Don't pound on it or hit it straight with the hammer. And don't put heat to the shaft, just the gear and do it evenly all around.

Another tip for the seal. Flip your old seal and use it to drive the new one in. That way you've got rubber to rubber driving the seal in as opposed to metal to rubber, possibly cutting it. Should go in easily anyway.

Not a Honda, but I was trying to remove a crank sprocket recently with a typical gear puller. I reinstalled the crank bolt and washer, put some pressure on the sprocket, nadda. I removed and reinstalled the bolt/washer and pulley a couple of times, on the last try I did not fully seat the bolt/washer. The sprocket moved.

The keyway slot in the sprocket was not fully cut all the way back, so when I tried to pull the sprocket it was pushing on the keyway, but the keyway could not move due to the cranks bolts washer in the way. Removed the washer and kept the bolt head clear of the keyway, wa-la the sprocket and keyway slid off with little effort using the puller.

Got it off!! Took oneprblmcat's advice since I was already leaning in that direction. I slowly and lightly heated the gear with propane torch, being careful to try and not heat the shaft. I then took a screwdriver blade and lightly tapped in down between block and gear (at around 11 o'clock position in photo). Came off quite easily.
