Well, I don't plan on buying it new but I do plan on getting one used. I had a deposit on the last iteration when it was proposed as a 500hp + front engine RWD car. I like this one more but, man, this economy sucks. We'll be at the dealership on delivery day and if it impresses I reserve the right to change my mind.

I would definitely go for a 98 NSX before i got the new one. It's a cool looking car but I like the lines of the older ones way better.

Any successor will be challenged to live up to the longevity of the previous NSX's looks.
Out of any car I've ever seen the NSX (probably designed in 88-89) still looks amazing by 2012 standards!

My thoughts:

If the "new" NSX isn't built in Japan, it's NOT an NSX.

It's going to be built in Marysville, OH. I don't think the Quality Control that the Japanese have will be there.

i buy it..if dey put dat 3.4 v8 puttin down 500hp++.Honda is going different route on hybrid sports car.imo,they should just leave it to the fit,crz,civics model as hybrids.look at lfa,gt-r and etc honda..they gettin money!!

im bumpin this one..you peeps can decide which 1..i take the hsv over the nsx..they should put the hsv into production and call it hsv instead of nsx.they should cancel nsx and put hsv back on track and the name hsv sounds good,more fresh.thats what everybody wants hsv more power and looks way sick.
