Doesn't look abnormal to me. The cat isn't supposed to be completely tucked up into the chassis.

Not too sure about the rest of the exhaust, though. Could just be the angle the photo was taken from, but something about it looks strange to me.

Do you both have EX Civics? If so, then there should be no difference. If he doesn't have an EX, that would be a huge difference.

Is his exhaust stock? If not, that's probably why it looks different than yours.

Have you inspected your motor mounts? They're prone to wearing out, and could cause the exhaust to sit lower.

Your custom mid-pipe could be adding weight and pressure to force the cat down a bit. Did you make the mid-pipe, or did a shop custom make one for you? They could have heated the exhaust hangar, to make the cat. sit lower as well.

Custom mid-pipe isn't stock.

Yours doesn't seem to bend up right after the cat. It looks like it bends but, horizontally instead of vertically.

See if the hanger can be bent up.

a shop did it..they've cut my old midpipe then weld a custom one from the cat to the axle back..

yea they didnt do a good job putting on the midpipe..il try and ask a shop to reweld the hangers and make the pipe higher and see if that helps..
