An old Solo I car, huh? As long as it hasn't been into the wall or anything (which is somewhat rare in individual time trials), you should be ok.

You leaving the cage in? Is it welded?

thanks guys!
Old owner lost his license, car was parked in 2004. it only had a few race miles on it. most where street miles.
The car has all the origonal vin tags in place! Every panel, engine and trans, all there!

The cage is comming out in one piece and will be useable again no prob. i'll post some pics in the next couple of days as i get to work on it. it's going to be super easy to remove and you'll never know a cage was in it.

It also has a fire supression system in it, i need to post pics of that as i need help removing it without it going off, it's still charged haha.

Wow, great find. I love the photos.

Was your hatch Imola Orange with an N1 style exhaust and SW388's? I think that car was my wallpaper back in '02 or '03. One of my favorites.
