Default New CTR & ITR Photoshoot

Local Honda dealer was delivering their new CTR to customer. My good buddy has worked there as a salesman for years and got me in for a few shots before she left the lot. I have a lot of positives and negatives about this car, and although I certainly didnt get to drive it and feel it, i'm still undecided on my feelings of the make up of the car and its features.

Enjoy!

Pictures look great Dan. With your ITR next to it, I think the CTR would've looked amazing in PY.

Cool photos, thanks for sharing. 4th picture really shows how insane 20" wheels are on a Civic. I'm rooting for the new R, if the dealers don't ruin it with their markups. Maybe a topic for another thread, though (or the entire CivicX Type R forum).

Thanks for sharing the photos. I'm still undecided as well. Though the front end doesn't look too bad.

It has certainly lost the clean simple design of the DC2, and they are so BIG! Would like to drive one though...

I spent an hour on the showroom floor last week looking it over... And by showroom floor, i mean yes. I was laying on the floor looking at it... LOL. There are a lot of subtle things you pick up after a while of looking.

Yea it sits "large" for a hatchback to me as well. I also would like to drive one, but not for $40k+ :D

Thanks!! I like it... but i dont think i LOVE it. Lots of little things that stop the love if that makes sense.

Front end is the best part of the caR to me. Not a big fan of the rear with the NON functional ducts/vents.

I said the same!! The 20" are enormous! I made the comment "Remember when 20's or "Dubs" were all the rave?"... Now they are standard equipment on a Civic... LOL

Thanks Justin! I heard there is someone who is buying one and immediately painting it PY? That would be kinda cool to see

Thanks for sharing the pictures. The new CTR is HUGE compared to the DC2R. So bulky. Nice to see them together for a size comparison.

Apparently that HondaPro Jason guy is painting his PY.

Great shots! Wow that CTR looks like a crossover next to the ITR.
