Keep blowing instrument light fuse
Car is a 98 Civic EX with a OBD1 LS swap. Has a EM1 gauge cluster. I keep blowing the instrument light fuse under the dash. The recommended amp fuse is 7.5, but the 7.5 would blow as soon as I plugged it in, so I bumped it up to 10 amp. The 10 amp lasted for a while, but eventually blew out. Now as soon as I put in a 10 it blows. There was gauges of some sort and a alarm hacked into the harness that I had to remove. Any ideas on why I keep blowing the fuse?

I also have an aftermarket stereo installed, since this seems to be a common problem with people who have aftermarket stereos.

Only if wires are hacked to hell. I have never had this issue in any car I have owned where I have installed an aftermarket radio. Sounds like you have too much hacked into that line. If you want to start a cabin fire just keep putting in bigger and bigger fuses until the wires melt.
