Default 95 civic dx sedan - cyl 1 and 2 spark plugs look melted

whats up honda-tech i am now a owner of my first honda civic sedan dx. its a white 1995 clean title for $750.

but the problem knowing when i bought it was cyl 1 and 2 has spark plugs that look like they melted and i cannot put a socket to unscrew it.

besides taking off the head you guys have any other ideas? i seen a ford writeup on someone who drilled the sparkplug and used an ez out to get them loose. anybody ever try this or know anyone? let me know people thanks.

The 5/8ths head doesnt fit over them?

I would just get a new head since it probably messed up the threads as well.

Thread titles MUST summarize the tech problem (be topic specific) so that members browsing titles can understand the problem without reading the post. Title edited.

Drilling them out sounds like a horrible idea, think of all the crap that will fall into the engine. Do you mean the boot from the spark plug wire melted or the actual plug melted? Cause if the plug melted you might as well take the head off and see what other damage has been caused by that much heat.

Post a picure of this.

If the plug is actually melted, take the head the head off.

I would NEVER drill a plug out with the head still on, that's asking for major issues in the future.

Are you just can't brake them free? You need to put anti seize on the plugs threads when your installing them, or they're be a huge pain in the *** to get them out.

It can be a pain in the *** to get them out if the guy before you didn't use anit seize on them.

It's always a good idea to put some anti-seize on the plugs while installing.

okay so your gonna lol. looking down the cylinder it looked flat, so i thought the sparkplug was melted. when i tryed to stick something down there the tip of the sparkplug wire came off and stayed on the sparkplug. therefore it looked like it was melted. im retarded. but car runs fine now. winning!
