Default HELP problem doing a 96'' spec itr 4 lug conversion on 98'' gsr/ ABS?

Ok so i didnt do enough research and baught a 1996'' spec ITR 4 lug 1x114 conversion and rims for a good deal since i needed a conversion for my project integra, but i didnt realize the 96'' spec conversion doesnt come with abs like my 1998'' integra gsr assembly. The front arm on the ITR has all the spots for the abs and brackets but it hasnt been tapped from the factory but seems like it can be taped pretty easily but im not sure about the rear because i havent got the rear arm off yet.

Has anyone done this conversion and still kept there abs working please lmk how you did it?

I was thinking maybe i can swap the arms its self so the abs sensors can bolt on but im not sure if its the same size or compatible. or if the rears can be done in the same way.

Remove the hubs and install them in your stock GSR spindles. The front hub bearings are the same size between the two. For the rear I'd have to take a look at what you have as I don't recall what they look like or where the ABS ring is.

It will work. That's why I posted it.

Throw some pictures up of the rears as that might not be as easy.

ok you say the front will work and i agree with the backs because the ITR doesnt have the ring gear for the abs sensor to read! can that be removed and put on the ITR? ill try and get pics soon as i get the rear gsr off to compare it. I really hope it works ill be stuck with this untill i find a buyer so i can get the abs version. but if i can retrofit it i think it will be cool and stand out just a lil bit cause im going show and go so everylil thing i can ad is nice. I like the 5 lug but i think theres not allot of 96 spec ITRs around much or replicas which ill have.

For the rear, you may be able to buy an aftermarket equivalent from a USDM ITR if the hubs are the same size. This is why I'm asking for pictures - specifically where and how the ring is pressed on.

NP. I've had three different 96spec brake setups on two cars so I've played with options out there. First was stock, then Spoon over Prelude VTEC rotors and now RL calipers on a completely custom setup.

On all those I never used ABS. I wish I could help better there but my experience leads me to believe a USDM ITR rear ring might work on the JDM ITR hub.

some weird stuff is going on, so i look at the right side rear trailer arm on the ITR 4x114 and its ABS compadible but the left side ITR trailer arm is not! lol so i got the right installed now i got the left! ill have pics up asap, the ring gear looks like it can be installed from the gsr to the ITR hub assembly but im not sure, and i got raped on labor i think to have the two front swaped with new wheel bearings but they were $45 and i got charged $160, the guy has done allot of work and were cool so i dont think he overcharged me i just think it was kinda pricey but idk, id like to try swaping the hubs my self but theres these hex bolts i dont have tools for that hold the hub to the trailer arm,ill have to get more input and maybe attempt to swap it my self but im not sure how the ring gear is removed. pics coming.

well after comparing the gsr rear hub to the jdm itr hub the bearing is set deeper on the gsr so the inner sealed bearings cant be swaped, so i had to just have the abs ring pressed on the itr hub right at the edge cause of the diffrence in where the abs sensor would be reading. The guy at the machine shop was kinda of a rip off! iv gave this jack *** so much buisness and this guy almost didnt do the swap right cause i walked in when it was suposed to be done and i said no thats not the whole hub swaped so he tryed and we saw it wouldnt work so i said just drill the holes for the abs sensor on the jdm itr hub, so i pick it up and go home and see the he didnt set the abs ring under the sensor so i had to basically disassemble it and go back with the hub and set it higher to edge, then i get home and i noticed he only taped the two hole for the abs sensor and not the other 3 for the brackets! and on top of this he wants $80 for taping two holes for me! ****in *** hole man! what a rip off i didnt say anything an said ill have to pay him next weak and im gonna wait an extra weak before i pay him! this guy charged me $80 to drill two holes! i had him do at least 6-7 gsr heads to rebuild in the past but whatever! i got it on and hopefully theres no issues.
