Check the G101 ground on the thermostat housing, 15A hood fuse 31, and 15A dash fuse 24.

When you turn the key from off to ON(II), does the CEL turn on and then off after 2 seconds? Or does it stay on steady?

This is called CEL code 0 and, in conjunction with a no-start problem, generally indicates that the ECU is not getting either voltage or ground.

That is what I thought but wasn't completely sure I will test the fuses to see if I'm getting anything if they are not how do I fix it?

It's more productive to identify the problem before discussing the fix.

If the one of the fuses does not get voltage, then (5) there's probably a bad wire between the ignition switch or hood fuse box and the fuse. Obviously, some methodical electrical testing is needed to precisely pinpoint the problem.

You'll find the dash fuse box diagram in the Electrical section of the FAQs sticky.
