Re: Sticker Bombing

Re: Sticker Bombing
It's good and bad.. depends on how much the owner has going on. Sometimes when the bike rack, wink mirror, and front lip are all bombed together it's a little too much. When I pick up a wink mirror for my current car, I'm either going to sticker bomb it or do some graffiti on the back of it so it's not so plain.
I also have some stickers on my back window, but I'm pretty sure that's the only other part of my car I'd add stickers too. Any more than that and I feel it would be too cluttered.
Different strokes for different folks!

it's whatever, i don't mind the rear view mirror or the small things like lips but whole cars are meh.
I've been sticker bombing skateboards to helmets to my snowboard for YEARS. My snowboard has stickers from every resort i hit and whatever else i can find that relate, what i'm getting at is sticker bombing your car with things that have NOTHING to do with your car is a bit lame.

Re: Sticker Bombing
I had lots of stickers on my 1995 Dodge Neon when I was 16. I couldn't afford real mods so I put free stickers on it. I got made fun of for being a ricer. So I sold that car, saved up and put $10,000 into another Neon to make it a clean showcar.
People these days are putting stickers all over Lexus's, GTR's, M3's, etc. I just don't get why people have nice cars but purposely try to make themself look poor.

Sticker bombing has no spaces and an entire car part is covered. After that, the part is sealed with many coats of lacquer, giving it a thick clear shell. It is weatherproof and if done right will last the duration of vehicle's life.
Placing a few stickers here and there in random places on your car is not sticker bombing, it's called rice.

Re: Sticker Bombing
I think sticker bombing is more like a form or art, sorta like a graffiti. I don't think it's the same thing as just putting stickers on your car like a retarded little child, which is probably what your Neon looked like.

You created a thread and asked for peoples' opinions, yet every time someone disagrees with your opinion you try to defend it and change their mind. It's a trend that will die in a year and people will move onto the next one.
Learn from your mistakes, right?

Re: Sticker Bombing
Roof racks look cool stickered, but the ones I've seen own no bikes, snowboards, ect. so...meh
Saw the inside of an s2k's headlights done and that was very cool to see.

Re: Sticker Bombing
I find it hilarious when people say that sticker bombing or having a roof rack is "being different". How is it different when all the fad following, bandwagon hipsters do it? Smh...
