I have a 94 del sol vtec with an original b16a3,previous owner put a 96 b16 head on it with all stock internals....when I first got the car, the engine was hella smooth and quiet(almost like a healthy singlecam)...as time has passed, theres a light ticking noise coming out of the head that's only getting a lil bit louder at idle...there's nothing wrong with the engine runs perfect,idles pretty good,vtec hits normal,even passed smog,its only there at idle...i jus like to keep my engine healthy n very quiet, couldthis be my lma's(loss motion assembly) or do I possibly jus need a valve adjustment???

valve adj. should do the trick.

Adjusting the valves never hurts. You could also try removing drive belts or looking for something with a loose bolt.
