Yeah I was into drift racing at the time. It's a Drift style. Comes from Japan, They mirror the decals so that when another driver it looking in his side or rear-view mirrors it appears to him as a normal image "not backwards" Ever notice that on some ambulance the word "ambulance" is spelled backwards on the front of there car so that when you look in your rear-view mirror it will read normal to you?

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
So about my brakes, I got a call and was told the Hawk rotors are on back order for a few weeks so I decided to just run with some Power Stop rotors "Slotted Only" front and rear and have decided to go with the Hawk HPS brake pads front and rear, As I'm afraid the HP plus pads would be too aggressive for daily driving.

Hell, even my wife goes through HPS's on our Family TSX. They're ok.. but definitely not for turbo. Which is why I recommended what I did originally.
I get NA guys who go through HPS's very quickly on the street and perform about 1/4 of the acceleration as you do. That's why I stated the HP+ pads. The higher level ones over HP+ are for circuit only.
Also, NAPA blanks would have been preferred, as the Power slots warp very easily. When I was a distributor for Power Slot, that was a design flaw they never truly fixed...

You'll go through those pretty fast. Those are mainly used for just outside OEM.. They'll only provide about 60% of the stopping power you need.

What about HP Plus for the front and HPS for the rear since the front does most of the braking?
So the power slot rotors warp easy? So your telling my just plain old napa 23.00 blank rotors are going to be better?

You can use the HP+ for the front and HPS for the rear. Yes. That would be acceptable.
The Premiums are like $58.00 instead of $23.00 and are resurfaceable.

I remember your video..... you should know by now ANYTHING Autozone is worthless.
Napa uses a different private label distributor than Autozone. Napa uses a company called A1, while Autozone uses another company that just was horrible (the name escapes me now)
Stick with Napa specifically, please

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
I found the complete set of Brembo Blanks for the 94-01 integra GSR for 162.50 shipped to me. Good??? But, am I really going to notice a difference between the brembo blanks VS the Napa premium blanks?

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
If you want to use Brembo blanks, fine. those work as well, as long as they weren't the Autozone. The difference is now up to the HP+ pads and brake fluid that I recommended: No Super Blue, No ATL or Castrol.. This, and this only due to its high dry boiling point of over 500*
You need 3 bottles:

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
Brembo blanks with HP Plus I can tell you are very nice and the stopping power is just great, driving to work i have some spots on the highway where its stop and go and or people cutting me off where i need the stopping power otherwise i will hit someone. Belowis the price i paid just change the front rotor and pads to your gsr vs mine civic and you should be in the same ball park. Break dust for me is minimal and i brake alot no noise what so ever just my 2 cents
