Worth reshaping a totaled FN2 ?
The car in discussion almost hugged a pole.
Damage report:
All airbags went bang, everything in front of the engine, including intake manifold suffered.
The suspension subframe is OK, the crash beams are untouched.
The whole front was sold as spares.
The rebuild would imply buying new or used parts for refit.
As I would like to have the car for track abuse, I wont need active safety devices.
The price for it is pretty decent. 1K Euro for the car without the interior seats.
Thoughts ?

err.. Nobody ?
Just for reference, a good condition FN2 will sell at about 16.000 Euro. Decent miles, with some great accessories included.

As I have been told, the drivetrain/suspension module is intact. Also the longitudinal beams are pretty intact.
The damage limit line was the intake plenum.

I will grab a couple of more pictures. All I would need is some technical advice, from all of you as soon as possible.

Thanks for the opinions.
If the frame damage is intolerable for a good drive again, how about of keeping most parts out of it and try to find a good FN2 chassis to swap.

IMO, I would totally buy this.
As for fixing it..Ive seen worse. This was like my FG1 when I got it :p
Even if its damaged beyond repair, Id scrap everything else and sell it. Shoot, the wheels themselves could probably get you 1K Euro already. Well worth the investment

I didn't bought it yet. So far no one is interested in it. Also, the owner has to pay storage costs, and will eventually run out of money. Might grab a great bargain.
A FN2 chassis is pretty hard to find in Europe, and the rear IRS seems impossible to source.
