Default How do you carry your smartphone?

I just switched from an iPhone to the Nexus S from Google, and I'm having a hard time finding a case for it that I like.

I'm not sure about those smartphone "cases" that only cover the back/sides and leave the screen completely open. I'd like to have the screen protected so it doesn't get scratched up but I don't like those plastic film screen covers.

I just want a case that completely encloses the phone. This is what I had for the iPhone, and it worked really well -

I found a cheap $5 version of that to fit my Android, but it was a piece of junk.

So, how do you carry your phone that keeps it protected, but is still easy to access?

I hate cases, screen protectors, belt holders, plastic wrapping the couch etc....always have. I hate cases on anything, especially phones. Makes the dam thing almost twice as big and if you have one of those rubbery condom cases, good luck getting the phone back out of your pocket....and screen protectors just make sh*t harder to see and reduce the sensitivity of the screen.....lol can you tell how much I hate cases!!.....I also never use condoms either, possible connection between the two......anyway, I carry my phone in my pocket.

Stop wasting your money. You won't scratch that screen unless you keep sand and diamonds in your pockets.

I've had my epic for months and not a single scratch on it.

otterbox, but you might find it to bulky. But I have literally thrown it across a parking lot to show my friends how well it protects. I have the DX.

TL;DR: Yes, I'm poor.

Pocket, I carry pens and my knife in there as well and don't have any scratches on the screen at all. At work I tend to use my otter box, but I don't like how bulky it makes the phone. And it's the smallest otterbox for the evo and I still hate it.

I had used a hip case like OP posted but it kept getting hung on stuff at work, which for me is quite dangerous with the machines. Hell like others said you have gorilla glass, nothing to really worry about.

Otterbox Commuter series... the front screen is exposed but the bumpers around the screen keep it from hitting the ground directly if it falls face flat.. and its indestructible.. keeps my phone nice and clean with the rubber inside instead of plastic which could scratch the phone if dirt or sand is inside.. and i carry my phone in my left pocket with nothing else ever in that pocket
