Car is Overheating, What Could Be Causing this? (Symptoms in OP)
Start out with basics:
Integra LS with stock B18B1 with 120k miles.
Symptoms:
-Temp gauge maxes out at the halfway mark on the gauge (in relation to entire gauge), EX: overheating = halfway up the gauge
-The gauge gets about 45% up the gauge (almost halfway) anytime I drive in the city, rush hour, etc.
-Drops to about 1/3 to 4/10 with the heat on full, city/rush hour
-Gauge sits at about 1/3 to 4/10 up the gauge when on the highway
-Drops to about 1/4 to 1/3 with the heat on full, highway
-I have smelt coolant when sitting in rush hour, before I began using the heat
-I smell burning oil anytime I maintain semi-aggressive acceleration for more than about 3 seconds.
-I have not noticed any white smoke.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks!

Noo. My gauge is effectively fitting the full temp range into half of the gauge.
Oh and forgot to mention, after a longish drive, the car will barely idle and will drop to 600ish rpm

Are you saying guage is "off", overheating at the 1/2 way point on gauge?
What is actual engine coolant temp. when gauge is reading 1/2 way?
At what point on gauge does rad fan turn on? 94

At the second one: I'm not sure
At the third one: I can't say I've heard, thus I do not know; loudish exhaust + windows open + music = Can't even hear myself think

I believe the normal op range for B18B1 is between 180-190 degrees F. If you start running over 130 I would worry. What temps are you at during those situations exactly?

Rad fan should turn on at about 192 degrees F.
Start engine, pop the hood, allow engine to warm up, when rad fan turns on, note position of temp. gauge.
A "thermo" gun would allow you to know what actual engine temp. is at when rad fan turns on and what it is in relation to the temp. gauge.
This is something that needs to be fixed if there is a problem, overheating is very hard on the engine.
Have you tried the obvious "fix" have coolant system flushed, replace thermostat, refilled with 50/50 coolant and properly bleed the system? 94

well, if it's not coming on, that needs to be addressed.
try running 12v straight to the fan from the battery. if the fan doesn't come on still, you need a fan motor. if it does come on, the problem lays somewhere else in the circuit
try that out and update us
