Default H22a swap fuel rail question

I haven't got my H22a yet. I know that the fuel rail is different on the JDM H22a engine. The inlet is on the passager side -vs- driver. Will my F22B2 fuel rail bolt on or will have to buy another one?

I just notice the parts were different. I read in one of the install guides, they said to use a 97 prelude fuel rail when they were swaping a f22 engine out. So I assumed they didn't use the fuel rail on the f22.

I ran the f22a6 fuel rail out of my 90 ex accord motor for the same reason, the different side of fuel line it let. That should solve your problem

Mine came feeding off the driverside like my F22, so I didn't have to swap out any fuel rail. I did my research before I did the swap and I went and bought the 97+ Lude fuel rail which I have extra and totally different when I went and install it. Any one needs it, PM me.

I'll do that if I need it. For temp I might just run a longer hose around if I have to .

hey nus, how did you wind up with a fuel rail with the inlet fitting on the passengers side? also, you still got that rail for sale ?

You need it from the 92-96 Prelude VTEC I believe. If you search 92-96 Prelude VTEC fuel rail on Ebay, you'll see some feeding off the passenger side. Also, I know that H23s got theirs on the passenger side as well. I sold it way back after the post I made here.

As long as the throttle body of the h22a is for a manual you can just use your accord fuel rail and swap over the fuel pressure regulator and injectors from the h22a. If it's for an automatic you're going to have to carefully bend the fuel line where it connects so that it will fit without hitting the butterfly on the automatic throttle body.

The fuel rails themselves are completely and totally swappable as said before.
