1998 accord, cooling fans not coming on
hello...i have a 1998 accord ex 4cyl problem is the cooling fans dont come on...at all...changed the t stat...the ect switch...still nothing...fuses are good...fans come on when a/c is turned on... top rad hose gets hot but the lower hose is still cool. help

Did you bleed the system?
Was this before or after replacing parts?
I call the ECT (engine coolant temp), under dist on the side of the head. This onlys tells the ECU the temp of the engine.
Thermo A is on the t-stat housing, where the rad lower hose connects. Did you jump the connector (green) with the key on? If so did the fans come on.

So the coolant has been bleed (heat on) and the switch (thermo a on t-stat housing replaced) and no fans. Yet you can jump the wires on thermo a and they work?
T-stat was replaced - installed correctly, sorry I have to ask .....
Got a thermo, what is the temp at the t-stat?
