Ever seen a Billet K Series Bellhousing?
I've been using H-T for years as a reference resource and to get some good laughs, but I never felt the need to post before. I figured this would be a good topic to start with and the fact I wanted to let this thing out of the bag already. I designed this bellhousing for a friend last year and he still has been keeping it under wraps. So without any further rambling here it is...
If you are interested in this case, please PM Tyler H and he'll be glad to handle your inquiry.

Please do not post any pricing on this. You can talk about the product and answer questions. One price post and it's done

Re: Ever seen a Billet K Series Bellhousing?
The reason that this came about was because of this...
So after looking at this case and seeing what other people have done (granted mainly for b-series). I decided to design the case with a chrome moly cuff insert. Here is an exploded view so you can see how it works.
This case is being tested as we speak. So I will fill you in as that progresses. The biggest concerns both my friend and I have is that it fits perfect without having to modify it to work and it does its job it was designed to do. He has more material sitting waiting to be machined once we feel we have met our design goals. Since I do not want this tread shut down please PM Tyler H and he can let you know what the price is. I'm strictly on the design side of this thing.

Don't own a k series, just really amazed with your work. As a mechanical engineer i can really appreciate all of the work that goes into designing something like that. the tolerance stack ups, all of the precision required. if you don't mind me asking, what did you model it in, and how did you get the measurements off of the old case? CMM? or did you drop it on a Bridgeport and do it that way?

Thanks! I use Solidworks for all the modelling and I own a portable Faro CMM. It will hold +/- 0.002in within an 8ft sphere. Those arms are worth every penny and without it, it would be a nightmare to figure some things out unless you had a full inspection room at you disposal.
