i didn't mean any harm about the build anyway. more power to you for having the expertise/parts/equipment/hook-ups to save money, but i'm sure 95% of the people that would see/read about this build wouldn't think this is a "normal" "budget" build without you saying a word....anyway, nice creation and good luck.

It's getting there. All the fab stuff should be complete by the end of the week. After that it's going to get painted, powdercoated, etc. Then once I get it, it's just assembly. Motor is ready, I have all the electronics, wiring, etc. ready. The only part I'm still waiting on is my intake manifold, which 'should' be here the 2nd week of July.
It'll be done and racing before the end of summer.

LOL....VTEC! Thats cool you put that valve cover on there. So now someone that doesn't really know what it is will think it's really a honda engine.

About 40% of people know what it is, 30% are confused and 30% have no clue dont even notice the engine swap haha

sorry i've been really busy, but here's a few more pics
the car went 10.3@131 first time out on wastegate spring pressure 24.5psi shifting @8500 due to ignition problems.
